SYD-0653 Emulsified Asphalt Particles Ionic Charge Tester

Usage

This instrument is used to determine the charge properties of ions of various emulsified asphalt particles, that is, the types of cations and anions. The particle ionic charge of emulsified asphalt refers to the charge properties of the particles dispersed in the emulsion to determine the type of emulsion. Positively charged (+) is cationic emulsified asphalt, and negatively charged (-) is anionic emulsified asphalt. By inserting an electrode into the asphalt emulsion and applying a DC 6V electric field, the instrument judges the polarity of the particle ion charge of the emulsified asphalt according to the movement and attachment of the ions.
